Senior Counsel Tal Taylor is a member of the Freeman Freeman & Smiley Litigation Department.
Ms. Taylor’s expertise spans wage and hour disputes, discrimination and harassment litigation, and administrative claims. She counsels employers in employment matters and drafts and reviews employee handbooks.
Her focus is on keeping clients up to date on the ever-changing employment law landscape, minimizing employer risk of being sued, and minimizing costs. In representing employers in workplace disputes, Ms. Taylor’s emphasis is on protecting the employer, providing cost/benefit analysis, and preventing copycat claims by other employees.
Her litigation expertise also includes unfair business practices and related business torts; partnership disputes; commercial contract disputes; and real estate litigation, including breach of lease, lease interpretation, unlawful detainer and breach of guaranty.
Ms. Taylor has litigated in both State and Federal court and has also appeared before the EDD and the California Labor Commissioner.
Ms. Taylor is fluent in Hebrew.
