Thomas Aikin Named to 2017 Southern California Rising Stars List

Freeman Freeman & Smiley is proud to announce Thomas C. Aikin, associate, Probate and Trust Administration, has been named to the 2017 Southern California Rising Stars list. This is the fourth consecutive year for Mr. Aikin to receive this honor.

Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state receive this honor.  To be eligible for inclusion in Rising Stars, a candidate must be either 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less.

Super Lawyers, part of Thompson Reuters, is a research-driven, peer influenced rating service of outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.  Attorneys are selected from more than 70 practice areas and all firm sizes using a rigorous multi-phased process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates, and peer reviews by practice area.
